Raveena launches book on parenting on Children's Day

Actress Raveen Tandon launched a book on parenting on Children's Day at school in Mumbai. With two biological and two adopted children Raveena became the ideal candidate to launch the book.

The book titled How to Teach So Kids Can Learn proposes to share knowledge on the right way to teach children. And Raveena sure swears by books on parenting.

"I myself take a lot of lessons from these kind of books because in our daily life, we get so busy that we sometimes forget the basic things. So these books help us to mold our kids into better citizens," she said.

"I personally read a lot of these books and have learnt a lot and one of the few things is never say no to a kid, distract him to something else but never say no," she added.

Apart from sharing a few tips with parents who were present for the event, the actress also took a trip down memory lane, recalling how she spent Children's Day as a child.

"On Children Day it used to be a holiday in school so we used to really cherish that, teachers used to perform to make us feel special and then we used to have a small party in every class," she recalled.

With two movies in her kitty now, including one with Tabu, Raveena will surely be in the spotlight in the days to come. Advertisement
