Is Saif a reason behind Kareena’s glamorous look?

In her couple of past movies like ‘Kambakht Ishq’ and ‘Tashan’, actress Kareena Kapoor has looked tremendously glamorous. It not just the movies but she is looking fabulous in her real life too. It might be charm of her new found love Saifu and now the directors are finding it difficult to work it Kareena.Recently, Rajkumar Hirani, the director of ‘3 Idiots’ faced problems as it was difficult for him to de-glam the actress as per her role in the movie.

Hirani said, “I wanted Kareena to look less glamorous. But, it was not easy. Since, Kareena is too glamorous without make up also. In order to make her look convincing, we decided to give her thick glasses to wear. To some extent we managed to bring down the glamour quotient. In hindsight, I would say that it was not an easy task to de-glam Kareena Kapoor in the film.” The movie will release on Dec 25th.

Shahid Kareena’s romantic date?

This Valentines Day Shahid Bebo will be romancing each other once again. But this time they will be romancing on screen. Producer Boney Kapoor is contemplating the release of his upcoming movie‘Milenge Milenge’ on Valentines Day this year.“Milenge Milenge” is the Hindi version of Peter Chelsom’s “Serendipity”.

This film is supposed to be a big hit as Milenge Milenge may be the last film to feature Shahid Bebo jodi.These days Kareena is having a rocking relationship with Saif and Shahid is o.k with the alleged link-ups. So clearly both Shahid and Kareena have moved on. So will they promote Milenge Milenge individually or do it together.

Anyways this Valentines Day, guys we will be seeing a reel life romantic love story, where the pair is not romantically involved in real life.

Kareena is frantic about Shahrukh

Kareena Kapoor has worked with many top-notch actors of Bollywood but her thirst has still not satisfied as she did not get an opportunity to act opposite the King Khan, Shahrukh Khan. She had a small part with him in Don but the actress wanted some more of Shahrukh Khan. She is angry as no filmmakers till date approached her to act alongside Shahrukh Khan.

The actress said, “I’d love to work with SRK again. I’m sure something is in the wings.” Kareena too knows that Shahrukh also wanted to work with her and she is hopeful that they will be staring together in a promising project. “I don’t want to talk about it and jinx it, but I know that in his heart SRK knows that I want to work with him and we will work together”.

Kareena rubbishes the report that she and Shahrukh Khan are not in good terms, “Gauri, SRK, Saif and I are very close; we’re always dining at each others’ homes.”We hope, very soon Kareena gets an opportunity to work with Shahrukh.

Kareena’s caste bias towards Rajkumar Hirani!

Strange are the connections and cross-connections in Bollywood! Latest news has it that the reason why Kareena Kapoor sprung up to work for Rajkumar Hirani’s ‘3 Idiots’ even without reading the script is more than hilarious – it is absurd. The motive behind the ladies’ decision was to please her mother Babita, who is a Sindhi like Rajkumar Hirani. Hirani amusingly revealed Kareena’s reaction when he called her up to discuss the film.

“When I called Kareena for `3I` she got excited and immediately told me that she wants to do the film. She didn’t even read the script. Kareena’s mother is Sindhi and after having watched ‘Lage Raho Munnabhai’ told her, `there’s one Sindhi director who makes good films, work with him.’ I told her, `Please read the script before signing this film. Don’t do this film because I’ am Sindhi,” Hirani said.

The actress later read the script and was excited at the opportunity of working with Aamir Khan. “Yeah, she heard the script, loved the script and she cried too. Apart from that, she was happy that she was getting a chance to work with Aamir,” Hirani added. Next we will hear, Kareena doing a film with a ‘Nawab’ to please her Saifu!

Aamir, Kareena praise each other like idiots

It seems Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor, who act together for the first time in 3 Idiots directed by Rajkumar Hirani, just can’t have enough of each other. They have been shouting from the rooftops praising each other like never before.Aamir, a man of few words, surprised many by saying that one would never get tired staring at Kareena whole day.

As expected, the outspoken actress praised him to heavens and described him as the ‘Emperor of cinema.’Aamir said that he has always admired Kareena and wanted to work with her. He added that he is friendlier to her than to her elder sister Karisma Kapoor. He feels she is very warm and affable.3 Idiots, which releases this Christmas on 25th December, has Aamir and Kareena kissing mouth-to-mouth.

They are also planning to do a romantic film together.Well, this new pair could make Kareena’s boyfriend Saif Ali Khan fume with jealousy!

Don’t let mom see me make love to Saif: Kareena

Karan Johar’s film Kurbaan is in the news again for all the wrong reasons. The Shiv Sena party has warned the makers of the film for the bold poster that has lead pair Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor posing topless. However, the person Kareena fears the most is not the Shiv Sena but her mother Babita. Kareena claimed that all the scenes in the film including the lovemaking scene with Saif and the bare back scene were shot aesthetically but she doesn’t want her mom to see the bold scenes. She asked Karan to cut the lovemaking scene at least in one show that would be attended by her mom and friends.

However, Karan just told her to shut up and talk a walk. He added that he would not cut any scene. Kareena is said to be pretty nervous how her mom would react to such a bold scene.Meanwhile, Kareena said that she would do such scene even with other actors though it wouldn’t be quite as explicit as it is now. She added that she and Saif would not hesitate doing such scenes as professional because the script demanded it.

And knowing Saif in real life made things much easier.Well, let’s wait and watch what the mother would say about her daughter’s bold scene!

Bollywood actors often describe their shooting schedule as a picnic. But “cold and depressing” is what Saif Ali Khan has to say about the US shoot of Kurbaan, speaking for not just himself but also girlfriend and co-star Kareena Kapoor.”Kurbaan was hard work. Period. In fact, the Philadelphia schedule was plain hell. It wasn’t anything like a picnic shooting for the film,” shudders Saif, who is glad that the film is complete and ready for release.

Saif says, “It gets dark there at 4 pm itself. Moreover, it’s so cold and at minus 10 degrees it can actually get really depressing. Since we were shooting in sync sound, it was extremely difficult to get the pitch and tone right while delivering our dialogues.”The film by Rensil D’Souza also stars Vivek Oberoi, Dia Mirza, Om Puri and Kirron Kher and will be released Nov 20.It was during the shoot of the film that Saif and Kareena got news of the terror attack in Mumbai last year. “Because of that, it was so difficult to concentrate onthe film’s shoot.

Thankfully, Bebo ( Kareena Kapoor) was there with me at that time but still both of us were very depressed,” says Saif.As it was quite cold in Philadelphia, Saif and Kareena were required to wear layers of clothing. Later, for continuity purpose, they had to wear the same clothes in the summer of Mumbai.

Kareena will be Shahid’s well wisher

Kareena Kapoor has said that she will always be Shahid Kapoor’s well wisher. Kareena who had called off her relationship with Shahid after their blockbuster Jab We Met said that she has no problems working with Shahid. She said that she loved Kaminey and felt Shahid was superb in the movie. Kareena added that their personal equation should not define their professional life and both of them were matured enough to understand that.

When quizzed about their pending movie Milenge Milenge she said that she had never rejected the idea of dubbing for the movie with Shahid and dismissed rumours that she was hesitant about promoting the movie along with him. Katrina said that when she had no problems doing a movie with Shahid there is no reason she would have problems promoting it.

Well all hope that Shahid and Kareena come together and complete Milenge Milenge and give some relief to director Satish Kaushik.

Abhishek-Kareena come together

Over the years, Abhishek Bachchan and Kareena Kapoor have been quite vociferous about not wanting to work together after his marriage to Karisma Kapoor was called off. Now things seem to be looking up as Kareena and Abhishek are in the mood to move on and have agreed to star together in a film after six years. Buzz is that the two have been signed for Abbas Mustan’s untitled film, a remake of the Hollywood film, Italian Job. The movie will also star Katrina Kaif and Neil Nitin Mukesh in lead roles.A source says, “Initially talks were on with Saif Ali Khan but he did not have dates and Abhishek Bachchan replaced him.

Although Saif and Kareena’s chemistry would have sizzled onscreen, it will be nice to watch Abhishek and Kareena after Main Prem Ki Diwani Hoon, which was their last film together in 2003. Both actors made their acting debut together in Refugee and have been in the industry for years but have only starred together in two films till date.”While Kareena’s manager Zahid denies that she has signed the film, a source close to Abbas Mustan says, “The directors always had Kareena in mind and now they have managed to get Katrina on board too.The film will go on the floors in April and like every Abbas Mustan film, this too will also be shot on a lavish budget at international locations.

The directors are clear about who they want to cast in the film.”The Italian Job (2003) rights are with Studio 18. CEO Sandeep Bhargava of Studio 18 says, “We have the rights of Italian Job. Abbas Mustan are working on the script and will also direct the film. The movie will go on the floors sometime next year.”When asked about the star cast, Bhargava says, “We can’t approach any actors till the script is ready.”Despite several attempts, Abbas Mustan remained unavailable for comment.

Kareena and SRK are superheroes

Kareena and SRK were paired with each other in Santosh Sivan’s Asoka in 2001. They will now be reunited as an onscreen pair in Anubhav Sinha’s Ra One, Shah Rukh’s home production.A source tells us, “Ra One is a science-fiction film set in the future in which Shah Rukh plays a superhero. So he will be seen wearing a cape, his underwear over his pants, flying over skyscrapers and saving the day.Technically, Ra One will be India’s third superhero film, Krishh and Drona being the first two. Ra One is a big budget film with never-before seen special effects.”

About Kareena’s role in the movie, our source said, “An actor and star of Kareena’s stature and caliber will not be happy playing just a glam doll so she has signed because she has been given a substantial role in the film.She is super fit and lean too and can mould herself according to any role. The stunning star will also get to kick some butt after Tashan.Being signed on for Ra One is a big deal for Kareena because it will be one of the most anticipated releases of 2010. She already has KJo’s Stepmom remake.

Moreover, working in Ra One will increase her chances of playing the lead in Farah Khan’s Happy New Year. Priyanka Chopra and Deepika Padukone are the other actors who are eyeing the film.”Ra One is directed by Anubhav Sinha of Dus, Tum Bin and Cash fame. The director has an eye for action and his songs (Dus Bahane, Cash, and Naughty Naughty) are chartbusters. Filming will begin in US in December followed be a schedule in Mumbai.

Kareena to star with Shahid in Mausam

When Shahid Kapoor was going strong with Kareena Kapoor his father Pankaj Kapoor had decided to cast the couple in Mausam. Pankaj had in fact written the script of his directorial debut keeping Kareena in mind. The one time lovers had last starred together in Jab We Met before their much publicised break up. Ironically it went to be their biggest hit together after the couple in the heydays of their courtship had delivered some duds.

After Shahid and Kareena split Mausam went into a back burner. They were not comfortable working with each other which meant that even the Satish Kaushik directed Milenge Milenge hasn’t seen light of the day. Panjak had to think about cast some other actress instead of Kareena and his producers Religare Vistaar Entertainment decided to launch a nationwide hunt for a suitable actress who could get into the shoes of Kareena.

Kareena upon hearing this said that she had no problems starring opposite Shahid in any movie as she separates her professional life from her personal one. She added that the only thing she would look for is a good script and a good role for herself. Shahid had always maintained that he had no qualms about starring with Kareena. Seems like the audience will soon get to see Shahid and Kareena romance together even if it is just on-screen.

Saif-Kareena in the shoes of Shahrukh-Tabu

The much-hyped film Kurbaan would star Shahrukh Khan, Tabu and Sanjay Dutt if Karan Johar went ahead with his plan seven years ago. However, he went on to do other projects, and the film eventually went to Saif Ali Khan, Kareena Kapoor and Vivek Oberoi.

Karan revealed that he wanted Shahrukh, Tabu and Sanjay to play the lead roles with Nikhil Advani as the director. The film was named Kaal then. On narrating the story to Rensil D’Silva, the screenplay he prepared turned out into a different film all together. Thus born the title Kurbaan with Saif and Kareena in the lead roles.

Karan left Kurbaan behind after he went on to make films like Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham in 2001 and later produced Kal Ho Naa Ho.

Salman Khan’s Main Aurr Mrs Khanna off the theatres

Salman Khan’s latest release Main Aurr Mrs Khanna is in for another trouble. It received the first blow after a poor opening. Now, it will be removed from multiplexes around the country. Multiplex Operators are against the release of the movie on DTH on a pay per view scheme, as they think producers should not exploit two channels at one go.Producers however think that DTH platform will not impact multiplex revenues but help fight piracy.

Following this complication, Multiplex Operators have decided to stop screening Main Aurr Mrs Khanna. Meanwhile, the DTH operators are still working on a revenue sharing model with the producers.Main Aurr Mrs Khanna produced by Sohail Khan Productions and directed by Prem Soni features Salman Khan and Kareena Kapoor in the lead roles.

Saif is classy not flamboyant, says Kareena Kapoor

He may be best known for playing dandies on screen but if Saif Ali Khan's lady love Kareena Kapoor is to be believed, the actor's off-screen avatar is far removed from his reel persona.

The Kambakkht Ishq actress who has been dating Saif for the past year, said that he is a complete opposite to his flamboyant on-screen image, describing him as "very classy and understated".

"I think Saif is very understated, he is very classy. He has an inherent charm which is visible on screen and I think that is there with him personally also," Kareena told host Farah Khan during an appearance on the chat show Tere Mere Beach Main.

The 27-year-old actress had caused a furore when she made her relationship with Saif public, with reports suggesting that she dumped Shahid Kapoor to be with him.

But the pair have been going strong with Saif's family having welcomed her into the fold.

"He is very different. On screen I think he is very flamboyant while in real life he is very understated and relaxed," gushed the actress.
