Everybody everywhere is talking about Paa. And Juicy Mausi has been hearing all about its similarity with Brad Pitt's Benjamin Button. Well, darlings you may think Mausi is too vain to notice all things 'intellectual'... but still, I can't help but wonder how the so-called intellectuals missed the striking similarity between the Big B starrer and Robin William's 1996 drama Jack!
Well, I must say comparing Big B to Brad Pitt sounds better and all of that but how can people forget altogether about the cute little Jack? Robin Williams may not really make me shiver in anticipation, but he sure can act! And yes, I do watch films for things apart from dresses, accessories and hot men.
In Jack if you remember, Robin Williams suffered from guess what... PROGERIA! Yep. God knows why people made this HUGE hullaballoo about this syndrome all of a sudden. It has been more than a dozen years since we first heard THAT one. D-uh!
But then again, the film is not all about the disease right? It's about the father-son relationship. However, the fact that Big Bachchan would be trying to match up to Williams is what gets me excited! Advertisement
