Aishwarya's long forgotten boyfriend reappears

If you though Salman Khan and Vivek Oberoi were the only two men Aishwarya Bachchan dumped before marrying Abhishek Bachchan, think again. Aishwarya had dated model Rajeev Mulchandani at the start of her career. The two had met during their modelling days and instantly connected but as Aishwarya's career starting scaling new heights Rajeev turned out to be no match for her and the relationship died a natural death.

Rajeev Mulchandani has however emerged from nowhere and was spotted at a recent Page 3 event. Rajeev who had once dated world's most beautiful woman looked skinny to the core during the event. Aishwarya wasn't the only Bollywood actress who dumped Rajeev as he faced similar heartbreak from Manisha Koirala as well. Ash bumps in to her exes!

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has two famous exes. Vivek Oberoi and Salman Khan and she ran into them recently.

Ash ran into Salman at Mehboob Studios in Bandra recently. She was shooting there for Sanjay Leela’ Bhansali’s Guzaarish. Few people know that Salman went to Bhansali with the idea but the director chose to cast Ash and Hrithik instead, which soured relations between Bhansali and Khan. Salman was at Mehboob to shoot for a promo of Veer.

A source present at the studio said that Ash and Salman crossed paths on December 17. While Ash was heading to her van after completing her shoot. Salman was stepping out of his car to start his shoot. She happened to glance at him and both quickly turned away from each other. Not a word was spoken. Salman went ahead with his shoot but he looked slightly disturbed throughout.

She also had a close encounter with Vivek Oberoi on December 19. They both were present at the Police Show Jashn 2010- Dhamaka Bollywood Ka. Aishwarya was already seated when Vivek entered. He realized that he was supposed to sit next to her, with only one chair in between. Asin was sitting next to Ash but she left to dance on stage. Vivek had to be convinced to sit there. He was uncomfortable and so was Ash. Abhishek wasn’t with her as he is shooting in Goa. Their common friend Manish Malhotra was standing nearby and saw how upset both of them were so he quickly went and sat beside them. This helped matters a bit.

Ash bumps into her ex-flame Salman

Even as his girlfriend Katrina Kaif is reeling at the Breach Candy Hospital for bad physical condition, Salman Khan had a odd encounter a few days ago that must have made him forget the world around him at least for a while. He bumped into his ex-flame Aishwarya Rai while shooting for his newest movie Veer.It happened at the Mehboob Studios where Aishwarya is shooting for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Guzaarish.

Salman too is eventful shooting for the promo of Veer.Sources said that Salman emerged from his car and was talking on phone with a smile on his face. In the mean time, Aishwarya too was walking towards her van. Sources said that the ex-lovers’ eyes did meet for a moment and then chose to look the other way. Salman, who was all smiles on phone, turned serious and his smile turned into a frown. Even as Salman was walking around uneasily, Aishwarya entered her van instantly.

It may be recalled that the lovers had an ugly break-up after seeing each other for several years. Aishwarya is now cheerfully married to Abhishek Bachchan while Salman is going steady with Katrina Kaif.

Ranbir Kapoor sketched Aishwarya Rai

What can she do if men of all ages locate her so gorgeous? Aishwarya Rai though married to Abhishek Bachchan has many male admirers in Bollywood and one such man is the hunk, Ranbir Kapoor. Lately at the Paa opening, Abhishek came to know about this, Ranbir was seen catching up with Aishwarya Rai and both the stars nonstop talking to each other until Abhishek came and interrupted them.As soon as he joined them, Aishwarya Rai told him a secret about Ranbir and that was an incident that happened almost a decade ago.

At that time, Ash was working with Rishi Kapoor in his directorial debut Aa Ab Laut Chalein and a young Ranbir who was keen to learn film making, was assisting his father. There was one instance when Rishi Kapoor and Ash were held in a grave debate over a shot, Ranbir, who was seated next to them, was busy making a sketch.

But before Ranbir could finish his sketch, his dad rapidly took the notepad from him to discover that he was sketching the beautiful Aishwarya Rai. After listening to this anecdote, Abhishek was quite ‘amused’, whilst the sharmila Ranbir couldn’t stop ‘blushing’.

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan recently made Ranbir Kapoor blush at a social gathering when she told her husband, Abhishek Bachchan, how Ranbir used to admire her some years back.

It's said that Ranbir used to sketch Ash when he was assisting his dad in one of the films before becoming an actor. When he was caught by his dad, Ranbir was obviously embarrassed.

When Ranbir met the Bachchans during the premiere of PAA recently, Aishwarya shared this secret with her hubby who could not stop laughing about this incident. Poor Ranbir was extremely shy about facing this reality of the past and kept blushing throughout the evening.

Aishwarya Rai back on Bhansali’s list

Aishwarya and Sanjay Bhansali have teamed up yet again for the upcoming film Guzarish. After Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam and Devdas this is the third film that Ash will be doing for Bhansali. Ash who shares a warm relationship with Bhansali says, “You know Sanjay and I share a great rapport, we didn’t do the last movies together and the crew was telling me things were just not the same.”

So does that mean, Sanjay made a mistake by choosing Rani Mukherjee for Black and Sonam Kapoor for Sawariyaa? No clue about that but Ash elaborates on how she has always been the right choice.”Sanjay and I have this relationship we don’t have to ask or dwell on stuff we know exactly what the other wants.

Vidya borrows a saree from Aishwarya’s wardrobe?

All eyes were on Vidya Balan at the film Paa’s premiere, not only because she plays the lead role opposite Abhishek Bachchan in the movie, but also because she was wearing a saree which seemed quite familiar.The actress, who has time and again faced flak for wearing wrong kind of clothes, was wearing a beautiful saree this time but there was a hiccup – it appeared to be straight out of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s wardrobe!

If you remember Ash wore an elegant black and white saree on the popular Oprah Winfrey show, designed by Sabayasachi Mukherjee. Vidya’s saree, also reportedly a Sabayasachi Mukherjee creation, was an exact replica. Perhaps, it was a goof up or someone was up to some mischief, but tongues started rolling on seeing Jr B’s onscreen wife dressing up as his off-screen wife.

When Aishwarya Bachchan listened that it is the news in bollywood that she is pregnant. She did only one thing i.e. charmingly laughing. She said it is only the Bollywood gossip.

She said that I think this talk is started from our advertisement of Lux in which I said to Abhishek that there is “Ek khush khabri hai”.
But it is only the advertisement and not any truth.

With the release date of the much-anticipated film Paa drawing near, former Miss World turned actress Aishwarya Bachchan has been bombarded with numerous questions though she is not part of the film, as her hubby plays the father of her father-in-law Amitabh Bachchan. And the most asked question is – will your hubby Abhishek Bachchan make a good paa (father)?

Aishwarya has given an answer that the Bachchans fans would like to hear. She said that her husband would surely make a good father, as he is very real, rooted and very human. She added that he is so great with kids. But they haven’t started a family, right? Well, Ash has seen her hubby having good time with his niece and nephew since the time they were babies. So, she is very sure that he would make a wonderful father.

She said that she is looking forward to motherhood. She added that she has no gender (boy/girl) preference and would welcome whatever God has in store for them.At the moment, Ash is concentrating on marketing Paa and helping her father-in-law for the premiere of the film to be held tomorrow (3rd Dec.). Tentatively titled Ajab Hai Ishq, Javed has already cast Salman will be playing the lead role. Hunt for ‘Crooked’ heroine for Abhishek Bachchan

Bollywood is abuzz about ‘Crooked’, a co-production of Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani. The movie features Abhishek Bachchan in the lead and his wife Aishwaraya Rai was supposed to play the role opposite him. However, the beauty walked out the project due to other work commitments.Vipul Shah’s ‘Action Replay’ which has Aish along with Akshay Kumar, is nearing its completion. So the actress is keen to finish it first and doesn’t want to clash both the projects; resulting in her exit from ‘Crooked’.

Now, the production team is on a fresh hunt of heroine. Said Ritesh, “We are now looking for a completely new face in Crooked, which actually requires three new girls.”‘Crooked’ will be directed by Abhinay Deo and the shooting is expected to start in coming January.

Marriage still Aishwarya’s sweetest experience

Speaking on sidelines of the event, Aishwarya explained she has recently been spotted only in commercials because she has been busy shooting.She is set to shoot a commercial for the watch brand too, and revealed director Bhansali was very accommodating. “I was too busy shooting when the brand approached me to be a part of their commercial and launch.

I asked him (Bhansali) if I could take some time out and he was generous. In fact he was happy to let me go for a while!” she said. Accompanied by her mother Vrinda Rai, Ash seemed in a reflective mood. She mused about her long journey in the film industry, calling it “wonderful”. “I like to work with a degree of passion,” she said, “I always believe in the word ‘now’, and now is changing every minute.I don’t have in any regrets from the time that has gone.We point out that marriage has made her look better than ever.

She has seen so much happiness in her life, where does matrimony rank? “I am fortunate enough to have had many great experiences. But marriage remains the sweetest experience of my life,” she signed off.

So, is the fear of Ash the reason for Kareena being everywhere these days? Guess so!
