Aamir Khan to make grand TV debut

Perfectionist Aamir Khan who was always negative about making television debut has finally broken his abhorrence and accepted to appear on the small screen. The show will be produced by the big banner of Bollywood, Yash Raj Films’ titled, ‘Rishta.com’. The show is about match-making.Reports say that Aamir accepted the offer as the concept of the show is very genuine and it is very close to real life.

The show will see big stars of Bollywood like Shah Rukh Khan, Rani Mukerji, Preity Zinta, Uday Chopra, Ritiesh Deshmukh and Tabu.It is surprising that Yash Raj has chosen Aamir Khan instead of Shahrukh as their all time favorite is Shahrukh Khan. But this time the banner is keen to have Aamir on the show regardless of many big stars agreeing to be a part of it.

The format and Aamir’s role on the show has not yet been divulged but there is no doubt in the fact that it is going to be the one of its kind.

Deepika Padukone miffed by Ranbir Kapoor

You may call it an irony of fate. Finally, when Neetu Kapoor started to develop a fondness for Deepika Padukone, her son Ranbir Kapoor is having a tough time keeping his love affair afloat with the dusky beauty.We hear the young couple are having endless tiffs these days sparking unsavoury rumours of an impending break-up.After one such recent showdown, Ranbir looked as if he had had enough. Deepika somewhere felt Ranbir wasn’t making a commitment to her, even though she was fully committed to the relationship because he was waiting for mummy’s approval.Everyone around them is wondering if this is the beginning of the end.But a friend of the actress said: “They are together. Fights happen in every relationship. This is the eighth time that everyone has been convinced they are heading for a split. But it’s fine. They’ve patched up.”Meanwhile, when the team of Karthik Calling Karthik told Deepika she needed to smoke for her role in the film, the actress was afraid of getting addicted to cigarettes.

But thanks to producer Ritesh Sidhwani’s thinking, they shot for the scenes with organic cigarettes.In the movie, Deepika plays a modern girl, who smokes but eventually quits.Talking about the issue, Sidhwani said: “It’s a film about a lovable loser and a modern, hip girl, who eventually quits smoking. So, we have a nice message in the end.”

Why Shilpa got engaged in the year's 10th month

No. 10 plays an important role in superstitious actress's life. Bollywood's age-old obsession with superstition may be behind Shilpa Shetty's sudden engagement to beau Raj Kundra.

The actress surprised everyone by getting engaged to the London-based NRI tycoon on Saturday, at a time when her sister Shamita is still inside the Bigg Boss house.

While conspiracy theories were quick to do the rounds over brewing rivalry between the Shetty sisters as the reason for Shilpa's move, the actress has been quick to quash such rumours.

It seems the number 10 plays an important part in Shilpa's life and so, she decided to get engaged in October, the tenth month of the year.

Look closely and you will spot the importance of 10 in Shilpa's life. She recently purchased a new apartment in Mumbai.

A building named Fortune 10. Two cars belonging to Kundra and her are also numbered 10 and 1010. She insisted on hosting a grand Indian Premier League party on March 10 this year.
