Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan, who will return to TV after a gap of four years as a “pop philosopher” in the reality show Bigg Boss 3, is excited with his new stint on the small screen.
“I’m very excited to be part of this show and also for my role as ‘Pop Philosopher’. It is unique because I have to decode emotions and comprehend simple philosophies of life,” Bachchan said here at a press conference.
The 66-year-old star, who is taking the reins of the reality show from actress Shilpa Shetty, will appear on the show twice a week – Friday and Saturday.
He will also lend his voice for a special promotional song for the show. Bachchan’s role in the show would be to analyse why people behave in a certain manner in the house and what is going on inside their minds.
Also, after a contestant’s eviction he will decode their journey in the Bigg Boss house.
Bigg Boss 3, adapted from the popular English reality show Big Brother, will be aired everyday starting October 4 and will feature 14 celebrity contestants, who will be locked in a house for 85 days under constant surveillance through 35 cameras.
