Salman Khan doesn’t like to be second best - a trait that taskmaster Ravi Chopra learnt the hard way. Known for doing massive favours to his pals, Salman is one actor who goes out of his way to make his dear ones special and it’s not without any expectations.
The actor doesn’t like to be thought as a substitute for younger actors and sends his message loud and clear whenever required.
Story goes that Ravi Chopra, who until now was in Sallu’s good books has now become his enemy. So much so is the actor miffed with the director that he is not only repeatedly refusing his films but is also declining to meet him.
It should be remembered that Salman had acted in Chopra’s film ‘Baghban’ (2003) and ‘Baabul’ (2006). Owing to their rapport, the actor had refused to take a penny for the films at that time. But now when Chopra approached the actor for his two films, Salman declined them sans any reason.
And though the actor’s manager cited date problem for Sallu’s refusal, sources tell us that it was the fact that Chopra had previously offered those films to Neil Nitin Mukesh and Shahid Kapur that raised Salman’s ire.
Well, next time we suggest Chopra to approach Salman first. Advertisement
